This note is from Mrs Kim Lee – Mother of the Bride – she planned her Daughter’s wedding on her own with her Daughter still living in France.
“Vita Blough is excellent… I cannot express our appreciation enough for her generous time and experience helping to make our daughter’s wedding such a memorable event. From the beginning Vita took over… she wanted us to relax and enjoy our daughter’s day… From the very beginning of planning this event to the actual day of the ceremony and reception, Vita made sure we were comfortable with all arrangements. She is so organized and makes sure all event planning and details are complete and ready in advance – if there is a last minute finishing touch to add – she does not hesitate to work that in smoothly as well. She was always available to answer all the questions, held extra meetings and would research for us different choices if we were not comfortable. She gave quick responses by telephone and e-mails. Our family and guests had a great weekend and Vita took care of us all. We had a great weekend and our daughter’s wedding was an event everyone enjoyed”
Here is the letter written to the General Manager of Tampa Marriott Waterside from Bill and Pam Leahy:
“We wanted to take the time to thank you and your staff for the exquisite wedding we celebrated at your beautiful Hotel. The whole evening we were amazed at the attention to the detail Vita displayed. For this one event, our expectations were very high. Our vision for the “perfect wedding” was by far surpassed.
At the beginning of the planning process we had both decided we wanted the best. Vita took the most time listening and helping us vision our wedding. After deciding on Marriott, we were treated like royalty through the whole process. And on our Wedding we felt like a King and Queen for a day!
I would be remiss if I did not communicate one particular gem that made the wedding successful. Vita Blough helped us plan the entire event. She helped us stay on track every step of the way. Vita assured us that after the last appointment before the wedding we would not have to worry about anything from that moment forward. By that time we had so much confidence in Vita, we knew we were in excellent care. Thank you, Vita, for our dream wedding!”
And the personal note to me:
“Dear Vita. We simply can not put it into words our appreciation for making our wedding so perfect. Early on you assured us you would take care of us. We did not know how much of an integral part you would play in the planning of our wedding.
We will always have fond memories of our wedding at the Marriott Waterside Hotel and Marina. And we would not have changed a thing. Thank you for making it so special for us. If we were asked “What was the key to success of our wedding?” The answer would be easy… It was you!”
This is the letter I got after I planned my first high profile wedding – what an incredible experience it was! Becky and Dave Hunter:
“Wow! Wow! Wow! Vita, we cannot thank you enough! You helped create the most incredible wedding. Every detail was better than we imagines. Your hard work, patience and pleasant personality made the last few months and our wedding weekend so wonderful. You helped make each and every dream come true. It was picture perfect!”
And Parents of the Bride, Steve and Judy Mitchell:
“ Dear Vita! You are truly the best! I loved working with you. We are most appreciative of the royal touches, flawless wedding – it was fantastic in every way. “Thank you” just doesn’t adequately express our gratitude.”
Throughout the years I had an amazing fortune not only work with so many wonderful Brides, but also with their unforgettable Moms. I will never forget working with this Mother of the Bride – she was just so concerned about every single detail and could not sleep entire week prior to the wedding.
“Dear Vita. We want to thank you for all of your guidances and time in planning our Daughter’s wedding weekend. From day one you have been so very attentive to all of our concerns. Your immediate replies to all of our questions, your reassuring words and the efficient way you handled all business matters were greatly appreciated. You have been a delight to work with. We know Sasha’s and Andrew’s wedding is going to be special.” The Carp Family
And here is the letter Sasha and Andrew sent me afterwards:
“Now that Andrew and I are back from our honeymoon, I’ve had time to reflect on our wonderful wedding. You made it such a meaningful experience – from the planning to the actual event.
Vita, beyond the extreme professionalism, I felt you were so sincere with us. Though relieved that it’s over, I’m a little sad I won’t be seeing you for our meetings. Thank you for taking care of us in such a caring and gentle way. I will always remember that went into our special weekend. I wish you all the best”
And another wonderful Mom – together we planned the most extravagant, crystal and water themed wedding. And the entire idea was born in my office, at the first appointment:
“ Vita, when Tami and I first met with you, all the decisions that needed to be made were overwhelming us, but you made us feel better and more confident before we left your office. You continued to support the feeling of confidence by being knowledgeable and capable, helping us make our way through the confusing maze that makes up a wedding. Thank you for all your time, effort and expertise. Sincerely, Jean and Bucky Edenfield”
However, sometimes Dads play an integral part in planning their one and only Daughter’s weddings. And these are so precious to my heart, since I am the only child and have an incredible relationship with my Dad, too:
“Vita Blough, the event planner for my Daughter’s Wedding, offered exceedingly exceptional service to my Family and me in the months leading to the wedding. She was always in touch, offering help, and had excellent advice and answers for problems that arouse throughout the process. On the day of the wedding she was always available, kept in touch and kept us updated on the timing. She has left such a good impression on my family members and guests and always had a smile. She was very involved in the menu and ballroom set up. I felt that I could really trust her with specific requests and was not disappointed.”
